Medical Acupuncture

Medical Acupuncture currently has a wealth of medical literature to support its benefits and its role in rehabilitation. The technique involves the insertion of extremely thin needles into very specific points of the body. The client then rests for 15-20 minutes with the needles in place. At times needles are stimulated either manually by the therapist or by use of an electrical modality.

This Medical Acupuncture technique is useful for most conditions, including: sprains/strains, headaches, arthritis, tendinopathies and overuse syndromes, low back pain, nerve root irritation, muscle tension, and chronic pain.
