Jenna Welch
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Jenna has more than 10 years of experience as a physiotherapist and has worked in a variety of private settings, including many years in a sports medicine setting. Jenna has many skillsets that set her apart from other therapists such as: manual therapy, acupuncture, taping, and cupping techniques. She has a very strong base in exercise prescription and therapy, All of these will be employed to help you get better faster!
Mona Modi
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Mona Modi is a Registered Physiotherapist who has been with us at Junction Rehabilitation since February 2023. We are so excited that she has recently completed her specialty training and can now offer Pelvic Health Physiotherapy. Pelvic health physiotherapists specialize in diagnosing and treating conditions related to the pelvic floor muscles, which support organs such as the bladder, uterus, and rectum.
Dr. Alana Welch
CHIROPRACTOR
Since graduating from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2006, Dr. Alana has worked in a variety of clinic settings throughout the GTA and Ontario. She also held the role of team doctor for the provincial and national karate teams for several years. In that capacity, she travelled throughout Canada and internationally to provide ongoing support to the teams and individual athletes during training camps and competitions. She has coordinated health service teams and participated as a provider at various sporting events, including karate, Taekwondo, dance and IronMan.
Hunter-Lynn Knight
TCM REGISTERED ACUPUNCTURIST
Born and raised in Washago, Hunter is the youngest of four siblings. She graduated in 2022 from the Traditional Chinese Medicine Program at Georgian College, which had a student-led community outreach clinic and where she was on the Dean's list for all 6 semesters. After growing up with a rare blood disorder that interfered with her ability to participate in sport and social functions, Hunter found herself with a strong passion to find ways to heal naturally, and has applied that passion to her schooling and practice to now help others to do the same.
Marie Picard
REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST
Marie obtained her advanced diploma in Massage Therapy in 2016. Marie likes to incorporate her medium to deep pressure massage in with myofascial release and trigger point therapy. Marie's techniques include; Cupping, Taping, Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Joint Mobilizations, Remedial Exercises and Self-Care.
Shannon Hilton
REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST
Shannon graduated with Honours in 2021 from Georgian College's Massage Therapy Program.
Prior to this, she obtained a Bachelor’s and Masters of Science degree in Kinesiology at Wayne State University. Following university, she worked as a kinesiologist in a multidisciplinary setting where she was able to provide manual therapy, exercise prescription as well as health education.
Nicole Caicco
REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST
Nicole Graduated from the Massage Therapy Program at Humber College in 2018. Nicole is a passionate and determined Massage Therapist who is devoted to helping clients in need. Every client presents a unique set of symptoms and challenges. Nicole's focus in on assessing and listening to her clients. Through this process she can individualize their treatment plan to determine the root cause of pain and alleviate the symptoms. Nicole's skills include but are not limited to: Swedish massage, fascial release, and cupping techniques.
